FROM THE CHANNEL TO YOUR CHECKOUT

Research that ends
with a next step.

The Phone Tax investigates smartphone value: new versus used, repair versus replace, support windows and the costs hidden behind a deal.

The videos explain the question. The guides help you apply it to your own purchase—with seller questions, source links, worked calculations and room for your numbers.

We use published research. We do not claim to have personally tested or certified the devices discussed. Examples are labeled, uncertainties stay visible, and current terms should be checked before buying.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

A few fair questions.

Do I have to enter my email to see the guides?

No. You can browse this site without joining a mailing list. The free checklist download is being prepared and will not require an email signup. If you buy a paid guide, Payhip asks for an email at checkout for your receipt and download link. That is separate from newsletter signup.

What do I receive after purchase?

A downloadable PDF, or three PDFs for the complete system. Payhip provides a download page after payment and emails your receipt and download link. Use a PDF reader that supports form fields, or print the worksheets.

Are these lists of the best phones this month?

No. These are reusable decision guides. Prices, support policies and listings change, so the guides show you what to verify for the exact phone and deal you are considering.

Which guide should I choose?

Choose Budget Vault for new-phone specifications and deal comparisons. Choose Used Without Getting Burned for used and refurbished listings. Choose the complete system if you also want the structured keep, repair or replace framework.

Will this guarantee a saving or a fault-free phone?

No. The guides help you gather evidence and compare your options. They cannot certify ownership, predict individual reliability or guarantee a saving. The examples use clearly stated assumptions.

Can I use these outside the United States?

The decision process can still help, but examples use US dollars and several sources describe US carrier or seller policies. Check local model variants, prices, support, taxes and consumer rights.

What if the guide is not right for me?

Request a refund within seven days of purchase using the seller contact on your receipt. No explanation is required. This policy does not limit applicable statutory rights.
